Our district heating comes from 100 percent renewable energy sources. The heat is produced from biofuels and from surplus heat generated when the BillerudKorsnäs paper mill manufactures its products. District heating warms houses, apartments, and businesses in Gävle and Valbo.

With the Gävle Energi app, you can easily monitor your energy consumption, get operational information, view invoices and contracts, and access our digital services. You can also follow and manage your electric car charging. The app also offers smart control features, helping you use electricity more efficiently and sustainably. The app is available in both Swedish and English, so you can choose the language that suits you best.
